I'm kind of a google master.

kathlellen:

Seriously, I’m a better googler than anyone I know. It sounds lame, but it’s an impressive skill to have.

Back in the day I cast a show about cowboys for CMT. Cowboys, rodeo or otherwise (yes there are different types), are largely inaccessible people. Either they’re out with the cows all day or they’re on the road 180 days a year competing. I was able to go through the the entire PRCA website contact at least 90% of eligible participants. Before that gig, I worked in the human interest department of a network talk show, which meant having to find articles about 11 year old yodelers and such, and getting their contact info as well. If it’s out there, I’m pretty sure I can find it.

Is there a way to utilize this skill for means beyond finding television subjects and, obviously, stalking?

My Google skills obvi SUCK. I’m trying to find some info about a wine we served in one the restaurants where I worked a year ago. Beach Bum Chardonnay. It might be local to Delaware? I googled and nothing happened.

Google Masters? Help? Please? I would totally reward you with a bottle…
