This time last year, I’d just moved into my atrociously shabby and grimy apartment at the beach with my BestFriendForLife. This photo was taken one of the first nights there - maybe the first night there - out at the Starboard in Dewey Beach. Besides the fact that we look cute and fun, I loved the photo for the way it caught the college softball game on the tv in the background. I miss the beach and I miss the fun places to go out and the very drunk guys we picked up and of course, I miss my BestFriendForLife who is 10, or 12, or just too many hours away. If I relive this night, I totally would. And I wouldn’t change a thing.
