My adorable student worker at the end of a long rant about her frustrations with boys, school, sorority sisters and life in general.

Some people don’t have her ability to see that life does go on. It’s not always an easy thing to remember, when things are so hard, and sometimes seem hopeless. I wish more people remembered that, above all else. It breaks my heart when people are hurting so much they feel they can’t go on - and I know the feeling, and I also know somehow, someway, it will be okay, and I keep drinking my coffee and surviving and trusting things will change, and they will be okay.

There’s always a way, just keep going. It gets better. And life goes on.
