About

Welcome to the dumping ground for all my random thoughts and strokes of genius. Tread carefully.

P.S. The title comes from a Dorothy Parker quote. "This is not a novel to be tossed lightly aside. It should be thrown with great force."
Replace "novel" with just about anything else and you've got yourself some damn good words to live by.

Second best thing about Public Enemies
When movies are shot from the perspective of the criminals, it’s easy to sympathize with them and turn the law enforcement into the bad guys. Christian Bale made it really hard for me to be totally for or against either side. I thought he and I were fucking done, professionally, but I loved him in this role.
Second most favorite thing about the movie: him hanging onto the side of a car, machine gun out, as they’re careening through the woods looking for the bank robbers. Badass.
